Dock Floats and Attachments

Wave Armor Wave Docks are designed with both residential and commercial applications in mind. The mission of the company is to provide products that are highly functional as well as aesthetically appealing to help enhance the precious time spent on and around the water. They are part of the IOS (Innovative Outdoor Solutions) family of brands, linking their name with brands like Bevertail, Otter, and Rhino – proving their reliability and longevity.

Wave Docks come in a plethora of shapes and sizes, making sure you get a custom design that fits your needs. With three standard rectangle size options, two half round end cap sizes, two corner dock section sizes, two dock wedge sizes, and several other accessories like a swim platform, dock ramps, dock floats, and a bridge dock section there are endless ways to incorporate the Wave Dock into your home or marina.

Wave Armor dock systems are designed with both fresh and saltwater applications in consideration, so you don’t have to worry about varying weather affecting the durability of your products. Every Wave Armor product is made with rotationally molded polyethylene that is imbued with UV weather protection. Their dock systems and other platform pieces are two-piece designs; with a bottom section filled with foam and a top deck with a paver-stone non-slip texture. The foam is high density and certifies both high levels of buoyancy and stability. Dock floats are also easily added to provide even more buoyancy for dock sections bearing heavy or uneven loads.

Wave Armor offers a multitude of accessories to customize your dock. From practical solutions like their four styles of dock post covers and the solar lights you can click into the tops of the posts, to leisure products like benches and the infamous tiki bar. The bench options come in multiple lengths, four to six-foot options can be anchored to the top of your Wave Dock or used in any outdoor space for an attractive and weather resistant seating area. A lockable storage box can be attached to the back of the five-foot bench to provide easily accessible and secure storage for your life jackets and other water gear. If you don’t want to monopolize space on your dock, there is also a dock bench attachment system, which allows the bench to overhang the water, with only the front two feet anchored to the dock platform.

For any of the dock additions – especially the bench storage box or the attachment system – it is recommended to offset the point of weight with additional dock floats. The dock float kit comes with two dock floats and four seven-inch t-plates and hardware. It is also suggested that you may want to utilize a dock float under your gangway. The dock floats mount along the side of the platform with the T-plates easily sliding into the H-beam channel and allowing for various personalized attachments. Each fifty-three pound dock float requires two of the seven inch T-plates to attach it properly along the side channel of the dock.
