SAFETY ON YOUR DOCK

Wave Armor Docks are as Safe as they are Stylish and Sturdy

Because Wave Armor® floating docks are a step above the rest, stepping onto one isn’t much different than walking onto a luxurious lakefront patio. Stylish and sturdy, Wave Armor docks are safe too, with a non-skid surface and no slivers or sharp edges.

Constructed of UV-resistant RotoMolded polyethylene that won’t fade, crack or rust – and never needs painting or staining! – Wave Armor floating docks, ports and accessories transcend durability and dependability with stylish design that sets a new standard for lakeside living. Instead of unsightly aluminum poles, rusty steel cables, or splinter-ridden wood, Wave Armor greets you with an attractive and kid-friendly flagstone-style, no-slip finish.

Wave Armor docks combine two separately RotoMolded components – a stylish, textured top-side deck and a sturdy foam-filled float below. Recessed pockets on the float’s underside seal to the water’s surface, providing unparalleled stability. RotoMolding – unlike other plastic processes like thermoforming and blow-molding – produces a more durable and stable dock with seamless parts.

The brand of choice for marina and waterfront home owners alike, Wave Armor offers a wide range of modular dock sections which connect securely via patented, hassle-free H-Beams. This system allows for easy expansion with handsome accessories such Wave Port personal-watercraft ports, boat bumpers, dock ramps, benches and more. Wave Armor docks and ports can be assembled into an infinite number of layouts to meet the exact configuration you desire.

BEST IN CLASS – PWC WAVE PORTS

Wave Armor PWC Wave Ports Are Easy to Use, Rich with Features

Stylish and virtually unsinkable, Wave Armor PWC Wave Ports are rich with features and a breeze to drive on and off.

“With a Wave Port, you’ll enjoy launching and docking your personal watercraft with little effort,” says Wave Armor owner and inventor Rick Johanneck.

Featuring a Deep-V entrance, Wave Ports won’t deliver a big, bone-jarring bump while driving on. “The more and bigger rollers you’ve got, the smoother your watercraft will glide on and off,” Johanneck explains.

While lesser PWC ports have only a few small, hard rollers, Wave Armor boasts 12 to 14 big, adjustable polyurethane-overlaid nylon roller-wheels on stainless steel axles. Customizable via 20 to 32 molded-in roller-wheel slots (depending on model), Wave Ports perfectly fit any style and brand of personal watercraft, protecting their hulls from scrapes and scratches.

Personal watercrafts glide onto Wave Ports so easily that all models come standard with a bow-stop. “The rougher the water you dock in, the more necessary it becomes to secure your watercraft to your port at the bow stop,” Johanneck explains. Securing a personal watercraft to a Wave Port is easy with removable bow straps and tie-down rings.

While most PWC ports and floating docks are merely functional, Wave Armor offerings feature a flagstone-style textured finish that transcends both durability and dependability, setting a new standard for lakeside living

“As stylish as Wave Ports appear top-side, it’s easy to overlook what’s below providing best-in-class stability and durability,” Johanneck says.

Foam-filled to provide extra buoyancy and structural integrity, Wave Ports are virtually unsinkable. Constructed of durable RotoMolded polyethylene with built-in UV-Protection, they will last for years without fading in the summer sun.

Wave Armor PWC Wave Ports can stand alone, connect to a traditional fixed dock, or lock in with a Wave Armor floating-dock system. Available in a variety of widths, Wave Ports integrate seamlessly into a wide range of modular Wave Armor floating-dock sections, which can be assembled into multiple configurations to custom-fit any waterfront environment.

Wave Ports come now come in five models –the new EVO5, EVO6, EVO Sport and the SLX5 and SLX6. The EVO5, which weighs 300 pounds, can handle as much as 1,700 pounds. It measures 14.4 feet by 59.5 inches and features 14 roller wheels to make easy work of docking and launching. Weighing in at 340 pounds, the EVO6 can accommodate personal watercrafts weighing as much as 2,200 pounds. It measures 14.4 feet by 72 inches. It too features 14 roller wheels.

EVO Sport Wave Ports measure 11 feet by 58 inches. Weighing in at 180 pounds, they can accommodate lighter personal watercrafts up to 900 pounds.  SLX6 Wave Ports measure 12 feet, 8 inches by 6 feet. Weighing in at 321 pounds, they can accommodate watercraft as heavy as 2,000 pounds. SLX5 models are 5-feet wide by 12 feet, 8 inches long. They weigh 286 pounds and can handle 1,500 pounds. SLX6, SLX5 and EVO Sport Wave Ports all have 12 roller wheels.

MAINTENANCE-FREE DOCKS AND PORTS

Maintenance-Free Wave Armor Floating Docks Deliver on Design and Dependability

Built from strong RotoMolded polyethylene with UV-protection baked in, Wave Armor® floating docks will endure years of fun in the sun without fading or chipping, splintering or rotting. You’ll spend more time enjoying life on the water, and less time and money on maintenance.

Setting a new standard for maintenance-free waterfront living, Wave Armor floating docks, PWC and boat ports and accessories deliver on durability and dependability without sacrificing on design and style. Whereas most floating-dock systems are merely functional and utilitarian, Wave Armor offerings feature an attractive, no-slip flagstone paver-style surface that will never need sanding, staining or painting.  Simply refresh your Wave Armor floating docks, ports and accessories with a pressure washer light setting or with a mild detergent or all-purpose cleaner and brush then rinse.

A Wave Armor floating dock is more than just a place to launch and park your boat, jet ski or personal watercraft – it’s an extension of your on-the-water lifestyle. Instead of traditional docks and boat lifts with unsightly aluminum poles, rusty steel cables and splinter-ridden, rotting wood greeting you at the water’s edge, you’re welcomed by what’s essentially a patio on the lake, where you can lounge comfortably and entertain friends in style.

All of Wave Armor’s modular floating-dock products utilize a patented, hassle-free H-Beam system to secure connections underneath their decks for a more dynamic and clean-flowing topside surface. This system allows for easy expansion with handsome accessories such Wave Port personal-watercraft ports, boat ports, horizontal and vertical bumpers, kayak racks and kayak assist, dock ramps, benches, deck boxes and more.

DURABLE AND DISTINCTIVE FLOATING DOCKS

RotoMolding and Foam-Filled Floats make Wave Armor Docks Stronger, more Stable

As durable as they are distinctive, Wave Armor® docks are built with RotoMolded polyethylene and foam-filled floats, providing marina and waterfront homeowners the ultimate in style, strength, and stability.

While most floating docks are merely functional, Wave Armor docks feature attractive flagstone paver-style textured finishes. But Wave Armor docks are as rugged as they are refined.

Each of Wave Armor’s modular dock sections comprises two separately RotoMolded components – the stylish top-side deck and a float below filled with rigid, closed-cell foam. Lesser dock systems take their chances with air-filled floats.

“Other docks, if their floats get punctured, they fill with water, and you’re sunk,” Rick Johanneck, owner/inventor of the Wave Armor floating-dock system explains. “With Wave Armor, it’s no big deal – the float can still do its job 100 percent as good as it did before.”

RotoMolding – unlike inferior plastic processes like thermoforming and blow-molding – produces a much more durable dock with seamless parts and uniform wall thickness.  “Our process distributes more material in the corners to absorb shocks and stresses where they occur most,” Johanneck explains. “Since the material isn’t stressed during production – like it is in thermoforming or pressure-forming – the finished product is stronger and more reliable.”

In all but the harshest of northern waterfront environments, a Wave Armor dock is durable enough to be left in year-round. “One of the biggest bonuses is leaving it in over the winter,” Johanneck says. “In most situations, you don’t have to take it out.”

After ice-up, simply remove your Wave Armor dock’s mooring pipes and tie your entire assembly to a stout tree or structure with a sturdy rope. Come spring, simply re-install your poles.

“Some homeowners spend $1,200 to $1,800 in the spring putting their dock in, and then the same taking it out in the fall,” Johanneck says. “Within a few seasons, Wave Armor really pays for itself.”

The brand of choice for waterfront homeowners and marinas alike, Wave Armor offers a wide range of modular dock sections that can be assembled into an infinite number of layouts and configurations to custom-fit any environment. Dock sections connect securely via a patented, hassle-free H-Beam system that allows for easy expansion with handsome accessories, including Wave Port personal-watercraft ports, boat bumpers, dock ramps, benches and more. Built-in UV protection ensures Wave Armor products will last for years without fading in the sun.

MEET THE WAVE ARMOR TEAM

From Left: Steve Schneider, Kari Tatge, Mike Jacobsen, Marcus Manser, Dave Meyer

Dave Meyer – Director of Sales & Marketing

I grew up in a small lake community in Southeastern Wisconsin and have been an avid water enthusiast all my life. I enjoy spending time with my family at our cabin in central Minnesota, hunting beast and bird, and playing increasingly less competitive volleyball as I grow older.  I have spent my career in retail as a merchant, salesman, marketer, and product development extraordinaire.

Steve Schneider – Territory Manager (North East US)

I grew up in Cold Spring, MN and my wife Lisa and I have been blessed with three wonderful boys.  I enjoy the changing seasons and all the fresh water lakes that Minnesota has to offer, which makes for great fishing, hunting, boating and golfing. I have spent 20 years of my career with the IOS brands and the last 15 year as Sales Manager for Wave Armor.

Mike Jacobsen – Territory Manager (Midwest US)

I have lived most of my life in the Willmar, Minnesota area with my wife, Kristin and children, Ali and Ben.  I enjoy restoring and showing collector cars.  I also enjoy exploring the outdoors on my RZR, fishing and hunting. I have worked in outside sales in the power transmission industry and also in purchasing for the steel industry. I am excited to work with Wave Armor to develop new dealers and increase brand recognition in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota and parts of Iowa and Illinois.

Kari Tatge – Sales & Marketing Specialist

A Grand Rapids, MN native, I spent much of my childhood swimming and tubing on Pokegama Lake (I never did master water skiing).  I enjoy 4-wheeling, hanging out at the lake, watching football and NASCAR and spending as much time as I can with my two grandsons! The majority of my career has been spent in sales & marketing and I have learned the importance of educating customers so they can make a well-informed purchasing decision.

Marcus Manser – Account Manager

Being born and raised in Minnesota, as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for the outdoors.  At a very young age, I chose snowmobiling, ATVing, fishing, and hunting over indoor activities.  With family and friends deeply entrenched in the marine industry I was exposed to and participated in many fishing tournaments and marine industry events growing up.  I wanted to learn all I could about the marine industry from a dealership perspective, so I took a position with a Midwest Marine Dealer.  It was great, I absolutely loved the ability to work with customers who shared my passions.  My background allowed me to assist others, fueling their passion for boating and fishing and look forward to continuing that with Wave Armor.
